Edit the name

You don’t need to be next to your FitBark GPS or within the Wi-Fi Network.

Tap the edit (pencil) icon on the right of the current Safe Place's location. Tap on the name of the Safe Place.

You can now edit the name. Tap Save when you are done changing the name.

Edit the address

You don’t need to be next to your FitBark GPS or within the Wi-Fi Network.

Tap the edit (pencil) icon on the right of the current Safe Place's location. Tap on the address of the Safe Place. You can now edit the address.

If you tap Enter/Go on the keyboard, the map will move to the desired address.

To change only the way the address is displayed, edit the address, close the keyboard, and tap Save.

Edit the Wi-Fi Network

You need:

  • Your phone to be connected with this Wi-Fi network

  • Your pup’s FitBark GPS nearby

  • The name of the Wi-Fi network

  • The Wi-Fi password

Tap the edit (pencil) icon on the right. Tap "Scan 2.4 GHz Networks". Tap the new network name. Insert the password for the new Wi-Fi network and tap Save.

Add a pet to an existing Wi-Fi Safe Place

You don’t need to be next to your FitBark GPS or within the Wi-Fi Network.

Tap the edit (pencil) icon on the right. In the pet selector page, press the grey icon to add an existing pet to a Safe Place and tap Next.

To make sure the changes are in effect, sync with the FitBark GPS. You can have up to 10 Safe Places per FitBark GPS.

Remove a pet from an existing Wi-Fi Safe Place

You don’t need to be next to your FitBark GPS or within the Wi-Fi Network.

Tap the edit (pencil) icon on the right. In the pet selector page, press the green icon to remove an existing pet from a Safe Place and tap Next.

Each pet needs at least one Wi-Fi Safe Place, otherwise the app will trigger an error.
